She is active active active, exploring everything around her and everything she can get her hands on. She can in fact keep herself occupied for probably up to an hour sometimes, just exploring the room and what she comes across or seaks out. She is especially interested in the bathroom as of late, and will b-line right over and climb up the one step to get in as often as possible (there's a basin with bath-toys in there that's tempting to investigate).
She crawls speedily around, holds on to things and pushes/pulls herself up into standing position (all.the.time...her favorite thing lately), engages with us when she isn't concentrated on what she's doing, loves loves loves her sister, says 'mama' and 'baba' (as in bye-bye....it seems correlated at least), signs milk, likes to eat daikon, carrots, bread, apples, wax apples, guavas, rice, is ok with eating some millet porriage and oatmeal porriage, likes puffed rice, basically enjoys eating in general.
She has two bottom teath and her first top front tooth just poked through; its neighbor is on the way any day as well.
She's working on her pincer grip - little chunks of bread are good for that, that she works hard on getting into her mouth.
She has fallen off the bed twice, but seems none the worse for wear (thank goodness).
She LOVES to grab small stools and push/pull them back and forth so that they scratch along the ground making lots of noise. She is getting into loving lables. Has a little slinky she's really enjoyed whipping around and pulling 'apart'.
Does not, and I mean not at all, like anyone trying to remove anything from her nostrils.
Is into holding various small objects up against other things. I think this comes from the fact that she pulled some magnets off the small fridge in our room a few weeks ago, and found that they stuck to the steel legs of the small chair beside it, as well as stick to the fridge, but don't stick to the towel hanging off the chair or to the carpet, for example.
All in all keeps us utterly in love with her.
